Instructions

On the search for something to use as a plant stand? Check out flea markets, garage sales, and industrial restaurant supply stores that deal in used shelving and store house supplies. The flea market metal stand will go from industrial to irrepressible with rosy red paint and easy to tend herbs. Transform dollar store terra-cotta pots into stylish containers with a fresh coat of chalk paint and you’ll have a most convenient garden!

Learn step by step below how to paint a plant stand and renew it into something personal, special, beautiful.

Step 1

Simple latex ornamentation can be used to refresh ordinary terra-cotta pots and give style to your garden. Using Efex adhesive, glue Efex latex ornamentation to the plain pot.

Step 2

Once dry simply paint the pot using a SMART Edge Paint Roller® filled with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Old White. Once dry, lightly roll the entire pot and the embellishments with a roller filled with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Coco.

Step 3

Remove any excess paint with a rag. Let dry and plant with your favorite herbs.
